Hi,

I had a similar problem with drive corruption in OSX 10.2 on my G4 700Mhz 7500.
The drive was corrupted but worked fine under OS 9.2.2 but OSX didnt like it.
From memory I wound up reformatting the drive and then everything went fine.

I couldn't get OSX to install on my sons beige G3.

I had upgraded it to 9.2 and it wouldn't run on 9.2?

But I didn't give up, It seems that all those installs
or whatever his drive had become corrupted?

I installed a 2nd drive and swapped everything over
and then installed OSX and now up to 10.2.8.

Speaking of 10.2.8 my blue and white starts up and the
icons disappear for the osx hd and os9 desktop but you
can still click the text for them and they open.

I suspect this hard drive may also need some work?

Has anyone else had the same problems with a blue and
white?
