Hey all, My Canon PowerShot A80 just arrived... works fine w/ my Beige G3 (OS 9.2.2 w/ USB PCI card-- even tho the docs say it needs "Apple branded built-in USB").
Thanks to everyone who confirmed that it would work. The software install dumped a gazillion drivers into my extensions folder-- any idea which ones I can dump? None of them say "A80" (altho there is "A40", "A30", "A200", etc.). I turned off the ones that seemed to be spesific to models I *don't* have (like "S400", "G5") but would prefer to clear out more if possible. I know I can just run some tests but figured I'd try here first... You folks are the best! -- Katzy ps-- the supplied browser/downloader is pretty stinky...
