D-Link 530TX+ is a really nice 10/100 network card the is guaranteed to work in a mac. They usually go for about $15. I use one in my 6500. As for working in a machine that already has e-net built on, it may be hard convincing he OS exactly where the connection is coming from.

My G4 Sawtooth keeps dropping off the network switch. I have tried all sorts of things. I believe the built in port is not functioning properly.
Has anyone installed a PCI Ethernet Card and used it successfully? If so what advice or brand could you recommend?
