ah, got a big ol problem. we have a g4 quicksilver with a 17" formac gallery monitor. the connector on the monitor is adc.
when we came in this morning the machine wouldn't power up. having got round the back of the machine we heard a 'ticking' noise... when we uplug the monitor, the machine starts up fine. we've got a standard vga monitor plugged in at the moment which works fine. we've also tried plugging the monitor into another machine and it did the same thing. has our monitor had it??!! it's a year old now which i guess means it's out of warranty... any suggestions (other than cry) would be grand, cheers, jake p.s. sorry for the double post, forgot to change the subject! -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
