Greetings all,
Is it possible that some hard drives (ATA of course) would work w/ a beige
G3 but not with a B+W? Or, pray tell, are "new world" Macs fussier about
hard drives (like they are on RAM)?
Is your B&W G by any chance a Rev1? Rev1 machines are known to have a variety of IDE problems, including refusing to recognise some brands and types of IDE drive. The fact it is an Apple OEM unit is very odd as those are the ones you'd expect to work!
