If you mean a full height 5.25" SCSI drive, these are 3-1/8" high and 
would take two drive bay positions, but it could be done.

I think Seagate made an UW-SCSI 5.25" full height and these are very 
inexpensive ... $9 or something like that.

The main issue would be cooling.

The width and depth of a 5.25" hard drive is no larger than the same 
dimensions of a 5.25" CD-ROM ... and a 5.25" DVD may actually be deeper 
than specification.

I've not gone this route as it makes more sense to me to put an ACARD 
EIDE-to-UW-SCSI "bridge" on an UATA drive, and save the space, power and 
cooling.

I did get a blow-out deal on a pair of 36 GB Seagate LVS/SE drives, 10K 
rpm, and that one is in the "penthouse" right now.
