Same as you Jack, I have 4 of the monster 47 Gb drives stuffed in a server case used as a file server for my network. At the time I was running PC's only and so I set it up in Win 98SE as I could not get Linux and Samba to serve the network fast enough so as to be able to play my MP3 files from the server. This server now serves the various Win/Linux/Mac systems on my LAN. The drives work perfectly for this and the server case is on wheels in case I need to move it around!

They're actually $2.99 right now...get 'em while they're hot!
Wow.$11.96 for 4. They are great drives. I bought 4 of the 47GB drives last year to stuff in a RAID. They are bullet proof drives. If you don't mind a little SCSI voodoo you can't go wrong. They are heavy suckers. The shipping will be more than the HD's. Good tip Bruce.
