Hey Folks,

New to the list.

I've got a Beige G3 running OS9.2.2 and/or OS 10.2.8. I just dropped in a new 10/100 PCI ether card (D-Link DFE-530TX+) and I'm having trouble getting full throughput out of it.

We're on a T1, and doing a speed test at 2wire.com will usually yield ~1200 or so on most of my machines. Going through this D-Link is coming up with high 500s at best. I can test side-by-side with another Beige's built-in ether, nearly simulataneously, and get 1200 on it. It's a brand new card, and I loaded the most recent drivers from the D-Link site.

Is there something on the Mac side of things that I need to change, or is this a card issue only. Duplex vs half-duplex?

Yeah, that's the usual problem, try one or the other, and check autonegotiate settings, as well, both on the card and on the switch it's plugged into (if it's manageable)
