I found a lime green tray loading 333mHz iMac with 32 megs of RAM and a 6 or
7 gig hd.
The owner bought it new but hasn't used it for quite a while. Everything
works fine and looks good.
My Questions ------
What is a good price for this machine?
(I already have a beige G3 desktop and a 5500 upgraded to a 400 meg G3.)
Would the iMac be as good a machine as either of these?
Am I stupid to want this iMac - even at a steal?

The price it's worth is what you are willing to pay. They sell for a little over a hundred bucks.
The iMac 333 is far better/faster/newer than the beige G3 or 5500 even with the 400 card in it.
They are somewhat limited to upgrading but keep the old Macs to play with and the iMac
should work good for you.
I would add as much RAM as you can afford and put Jaguar on it. You'll really like it.
I don't think buying any Mac is stupid........go for it !
