I found a new use this summer. Burning DVD movies. I use Toast, DVD Backup
and a product called DVD2oneX. This "clunker" of a mac will mop the floor
with my 1 GHz Atholon when it comes to ripping a DVD or music CD-ROM. Hands
Down. 1 hour to compress a 9 gig DVD image into a 4.5 gig DVD image compared
to the 6 hours on the PeeCee...
I would like to permanently hock up my dusty old turn table to the mac audio
import and start converting my old vinyl records into MP3's
