Internal modem, Rev A B&W G3, OS9.2.
The modem works fine on first connection... or did, anyway... but now if there is a problem connecting, the modem doesn't seem to want to disconnect. And I can't reset it (if my external GV modem on my 6116 does this, I can manually reset it with the power switch).
It cuts the phone connection, so there's no dial tone (I tried the telephone and dure enough, no tone). Unplug the modem from the phone line and the dialtone reappears.
I tried leaving the modem connected and shutting down, then restarting. No dialtone.
I did catch the modem ribbon in the case door when closing it once, and it now has a kink (stupid cable design!!). Could this be the problem?
Ideas?
Also, what do most folk use to disconnect after a session? On my 6116 I manually use PPP Disconnect, with an alias on the desktop (using an older OS, I used to use Disconnect PPP). I can't find anything to use in OS9.2.
