I bought a 400 sl for $ 100.00 from work. It wouldn't boot & it had a clanging sound so I figured a bad HD. I replaced the HD & the CD drive. It has a dvd drive so I put that in my older one. Anyway, it sounds like it is booting (by the sound of the HD) but the screen stays blank.
I have tried booting off the hard drive & the CD drive and by the sounds they make it sounds like it is booting just fine but no screen. I re-set the pmu still no results. Any suggestions?
