I have installed x.2 on a g3 and everything is running but the floppy drive. Did I miss something? Will this not work in X? I switched out the drive and still nothing. I transfer files on floppy to a pc so I would like to get this running. FUGEDDABODIT!!. The floppy is not supported in X. There is a hack that I do not think that anyone on the list, including myself, has gotten to work. Your best option is to pick up a USB pen drive. According to dealram.com, you can get a 128 Megabyte unit (90x the capacity of a floppy), for $21.00 shipped in the US. They also have some interesting variations, including a wristwatch with 128M of storage and a combo pen drive/mp3 player. These drives are also generally very sturdy, I ran mine through the washing machine and it still works, YMMV. Len -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
