Is the ATTO UL2D SCSI card compatible with OS X in a G3 Blue & White?I Hope so, I just purchased one on ebay for my Beige. My understanding was that it IS compatible.
I've got one in my G4 Sawtooth that has been running just fine with OS X from some version of Jaguar up through 10.3.5. Obviously not the same type of machine, but it suggests the card will work in other machines as well.
Oh yeah?! This (compare above and below) is just more conflicting info. on SCSI controller cards, first the Adaptec 2940U2B and now this ATTO UL2D. I'm wondering if the folks who say they are using these cards in OS X are not sure which card they actually have or have a somewhat "modified" card AND/OR if the manufacturers of these cards don't support them in OS X (so they say they are not compatible) but they actually work in OS X.
(I know Peter has an answer, this is right up his alley. Peter where are you?)

Mike,
Unfortunately, the UL2 adapters are not compatible with OSX. The UL3S/UL3D and UL4S/UL4D adapters are compatible with OSX, and you can find information and drivers for them on our website.
I hope this helps you, but if you need more information or help, feel free to contact us again.
