Sounds really cool. Gotta love screws that don't come out and get lost..........
The photos I saw show a really nice set-up for access to the innards. That's what I hate about iMacs.....until now......
So how does it "feel" compared to the G4 iMac ?
Do you use Photoshop ? I like to drag race my computers using one of the filters on a large image in Photoshop.
Get both Macs ready on the same image and filter and hit the go buttons at the same time to see which computer finished the filter first.
It's a lot of fun to do this with Windoze machines and Macs cuz the Macs usually kicks butt even with less CPU speed.
Watch the Windoze kids squirm when their "faster" computer ain't faster........

To open the back, you lay it down and there are 3 little Philip's head screws at the bottom (the kind that don't come out, so you can't lose them). Once loose, the back just tilts up from the bottom and comes off. The entire back of the computer is then open. You can add up to 2 gig of RAM (only 2 RAM slots). Also you can add an airport card and the bluetooth module. Also, the hard drive is easily accessible unlike the last generation G4 iMac. This one has a 160 gig, so I don't see the need to change it yet, but at least it can be done.

I looked one over at our local CompUSA, but I couldn't tell how it opens up. Does it split in half at the pull of a latch like my Quicksilver for easy access to its innards?

Schweet! So, is it really as quiet as advertised? Any problems? Does it have a power/sleep light? Is the display really off-center when you look at it in real life? So many questions!
