Mine is a rev A 300Mhz Blue and White G3.  Pretty sure it is a memory 
controller issue as I posted earlier, I put the stick in a G3 Imac 500 
and it recognized all 256m.  The stick was a PC-133 32 X 8 single sided 
part.
