I once worked on one for a friend and installed the iMac Firmware 1.2 updater while the machine was running OS 8.6. I intend to reinstall OS 9.1 and wonder if I need to install the Firmware updater.
I'd also like to replace the hard drive with something larger - maybe a 10 or 20 GB drive out of an old G4.
Any advice or recommendations for helping this iMac be all it can be would be appreciated.
