Yes that seems to be my problem... I actually CAN print (now!) from the
Epson printers, but the HP 1300 laser is nonresponsive. The print job seems
to go there, then just disappears. No printing, nada. And this "is" a
desktop printer... though right now my mind is so messed up I don't even
know what that really means. Other than that there is an icon on the
desktop all the time for this particular printer.

When I go to Chooser - it IS chosen and "highlighted" on the desktop - just
like it used to be. If I tried to go to "printer set up" though (in the
Print Monitor) - to re-set that (with the new OS installed now) - I cannot
do this. What the heck?

This is annoying and why I never like to upgrade anything! haha. Seriously,
there has to be something simple I am overlooking. But I really need this
(*%#! laser printer to work, and soon.

Thanks,
Michelle & Herd

PS - I'll send another note about this - but I did get the Sonnet Encore
ST/G4 CPU upgrade installed all by myself and it is working. Now I'm at
1GHz! Yippee!
