Michelle: I am not familiar with the HP 1300 laser printer. Did it come with its unique driver? If yes, I assume that you installed it. If you see it in the Chooser, and there is a desktop icon for it, but it does not print, try the following procedure. Drag the desktop icon for the HP printer into the Trash, empty the Trash, go to the Chooser, and follow the setup anew, then try to print from it.
