As a buyer your job is to pay for the item in a timely manner and have good

feedback for that person. I have found that sellers with 2000+ feedback are
the most common offenders of this practice. With a rating of 2000+ it really
doesn't matter if you leave positive/negative/neutral feedback.

My response to this is that as a seller selling, say a G3 B&W, your job is, once paid, to send the item off, properly packaged and in a timely manner.

There is no obligation on either side to provide feedback.

If the seller doesn't want to provide feedback first and this irks you, don't leave feedback. If the buyer doesn't want to provide feedback first and this irks you as the seller, don't provide feedback. The worst that happens here is that no feedback is left by either party. You still have either your money or your newly purchased item, which is the real point of it all.

Ebay is about buying and selling goods. Not about who leaves feedback and who should leave it first.

In over 800 transactions, I would say the majority of sellers I deal with leave feedback after I do. I don't curse or name call about this, I accept it, and make a decision as to whether or not to leave feedback myself.

I am on ebay to trade, either sell stuff I don't want or buy stuff I do want. Feedback is secondary.
