Subject: Video editing problem

I'm pretty sure I've seen posts on here about Final Cut being used on a
G3
but every editing program I have tried says it needs a G4, including
Avid
Free DV and, of course, any of the Final Cut versions I've tried
including
Express. I Movie doesn't cut it for me and I'd love to try something
else.
Since I don't want to upgrade (yet) to a G4, is there any way around
this
problem? Is there a version of Final Cut that runs on a G3 or is there
some
way I can get another version to run, probably slowly, just to see if
it's
worth upgrading? I Movie captured my video perfectly and transferred the
edited video back to my DV cam perfectly so it seems the speed is there,
lots of RAM too. It's a G3/300.

Thanks!

Final Cut Pro 3 and under will run on a G3 out of the box. You can get
4 and HD (4.5) to run on a G3 by editing a few files. If you want the
Instructions on how to do that I can post them when I get home.
