There are such things as just a line conditioner. However, a lot of times you will find a better price point and value on an UPS unit with a line conditioner built in, such as APC. Be a much better value, and you get their insurance policy which is worth a lot. If you're in lightning country and you're using a cable modem or DSL modem do not forget to protect the incoming lines.
