I want to do file sharing with my Quadra 610 and I need some help with getting it to work.
I have my Beige G3 running OS 9.1 and it is connected to my hub and the hub is connected to my rourter and the internet works with it.
I have my Quadra 610 running OS 7.6.1 nd it is connected to my hub and the hub is connected to my rourter and the internet works with it.
I don't seem to be able to shre files, so I would like some help getting it set up.
Mostly I want to ask for help on the G3 side. --
I assume you're trying to connect via the Chooser? Can you see the other machine when you open chooser and click on Appletalk? Is Appletalk even there in the left window to click on?
Check to make sure that you have the Appletalk extension installed, and that filesharing (control panel) is enabled on the machine you're connecting to.
