Thanks to all who replied on this. I got it to work. My problem was that I
wasn't going to the Chooser and selecting the Mac that was there. I had
everything else done. :-}
BTW OS 7.6.1 and 8.1 have pretty much the same Networking features and the
old Quadra can mount the Drives on the G3 just fine now. :-}
