I've upgraded from an 8500/G3 to a new iMac G5, and I need to copy my files to the iMac. Target Disk Mode won't work, since the 8500 isn't running OSX and it doesn't have built in FW.

The two Macs are connected on an Ethernet network. I've turned on File Sharing on both computers, and set up a new user for myself on the 8500.. In Get Info for one of the hard drives on the 8500, I added my new account and selected read-only privileges. Then I copied those privileges to all enclosed folders.

Now, can anyone tell me how I get this hard drive to show up on the iMac? I tried the Network browser but it doesn't see anything on the 8500.
