Greetings, fellow listers, Yes, I did have two HDs with OS 9.1 on them, but since they're both bad, I'm back to working off my OS 8.1 HD almost exclusively again -- the sole exception being experiments which it would be more appropriate for me to detail in another post.
Anyway, I successfully hooked up an Iomega Zip drive to my G3/233 and finally, at long last, was able to make external backups for my data and applications. Here's my question -- Can anyone here tell me what extension conflicts exist between IomegaWare 1.0 and Mac OS 8.1? I know there are some, because the only way I can use the Zip drive from there is to boot up with extensions off. The owner's manual that came with my Zip drive listed some known extension conflicts, but I checked my Extensions Manager and I don't even have any of those extensions. To spare you kind folks some headaches, I hope, here are the extensions listed in the manual as known conflicts: Anubis 3.0 and earlier, APS PowerTools v4.0.9, AutoRemounter, DOS Mounter 95, Drive7 v4.1.8, FormatterFive, FormatterOne Pro SE v1.5.1, FormatterOne Pro v2.1, FWB Hard Disk Toolkit v2.5 and earlier, FWB Hard Disk Toolkit PE v2.0.6, Mt. Everything, SCSI Probe and Silverlining. So other than these extensions, do you know of any others which conflict with IomegaWare?
