Apple has always used model code names internally.

The Beige G3 (DT or MT) was Gossamer
The G3 AIO was Artemis
The B& W G3 was Yosemite
The first G4 was Yikes (basically a B&W with a G4 chip)
The next G4 was Sawtooth
The Gigabit G4 was Mystic and Snakebite
The first G5 was Omega

Etc., etc., etc., Obviously those product engineers have a sense of humor. <G>
