Thanks for everyones help so far.
So, I'm looking at a Quicksilver. Here are the symptoms according to the present owner. It beeps upon boot up never loads os...no activity from monitor. I'm about to ask it he has tried booting from the OS CD. Any other thoughts. What sort of symptoms would there be if the processor was bad? How about the logicboard?

While bench testing a Gigabit system, I could reproduce those symptoms with bad ram. Try reseating it?
