Hey James, I have thrown away the notice along with the opt out link that I received from a few yahoo group members that sent the heads up to me.
All I really remember is someone mentioning, Yahoo is doing an experiment/survey by watching people's footsteps across the web in order to pin point what they should advertise, or something like that. I've not verified it but it is the same type notice and opt out notification I received from my friends when Yahoo began the sharing your addy to marketers, unless you opted out. With Yahoo giving the opt out option, it is probably in your Yahoo Groups settings.
