I have a newly acquired B&W 300 upgraded to 450 mhz, 80 gig drive, and 640
memory. The problem is it keeps crashing in different ways. Yesterday
selecting 'About this Mac' caused it to crash and corrupt the drive so badly
a re-format was needed. Tonight, trying to install iLife has done the same
thing in the OS 10 partition. Don't know if Disk Warrior can fix it or not.
I know there is a problem with the built-in ATA controller but was led to
believe it only caused havoc when using a slave drive. This is a nice second
machine but the crashing has to be fixed. Any ideas?
