Nothing fits in 1.44Megs any more, and by the time a floppy finishes writing a file I can have transfered the stuff on the Cruzer even if I had to dig behind the computers to plug it in to the USB port.

True, it's not a solution for a 6116, but geez what do you use that antique for, anyway?
