Anybody know how I can set Photoshop as the default jpeg opener in OS-X?

In OS-9, using the Configuration Manager control panel, I can set Photoshop 4 as the default opener of all the jpeg images that I import onto the desktop from my digital camera, and doing so allows me to open a whole batch of jpegs all at once into Photoshop 4, all ready for color adjustments etc.

But in OS-X, when I open the camera's jpegs, they always show up in something called Preview. I want them to show up in Photoshop like they do in OS-9. It's the only way I can open a whole windowful of pictures into Photoshop all at once, instead of one by one through Photoshop's File menu. So, how can I tell OS-X to use Photoshop 4 (in Classic mode) instead of Preview? I can't find anything analogous to the Configuration Manager control panel in X.

I wouldn't mind dropping back into OS-9 to work with my digital camera photos, except that my new Sandisk multi-card reader won't import all my camera's pictures to the OS-9 desktop. It will only import photos from a SmartMedia card (go figure) but not from CompactFlash or XD Picturecards, and I have cameras that use all three kinds of cards. So I'm stuck with using OS-X to import from some cards, and then the pictures won't open in Photoshop, or can't be made to do so as far as I can tell.

Again, does anybody know how I can set Photoshop as the default jpeg opener in OS-X?

Thanks,

Tom
