I would hope so, especially since the lower price may attract a lot of
Wintel users for the first time. I'm sure that Jobs has thought this one
out pretty carefully, because there's a lot at stake. With, what, three
percent (?) of the world computing market, Apple can't afford to make too
many errors.
Depends on who you ask, but apple has grown quite a bit and some estimates say they have as much as 10 percent of the computing market. I believe apple says 5-10%, A couple companies say 7%, a few others say 5%, and several others say 3%.
It all depends on who you ask :)
