I think it's about petty money grubbing. Annoying, IMO. But then again, I think seeing a character "coincidentally" grabbing a soda can so the label shows perfectly to the audience every time totally detracts from the character's credibility.

Yes, absolutely. Thay're also precognitive!

You catch the episode of "Center Of The Universe", last week? The pudgy kid fails at all the things he tries, then tries fencing. He ends up on his back, with another kid poking him repeatedly with a foil.

Then, Fri nite, my housemate (a John Goodman-sized guy) informs me that his grandson is trying fencing. The kid is a total klutz...


Now if only someone would pay me to walk around with an Apple logo plastered to my forehead...
