You're talking about the drive carrier chasis, right? You want to lift it up to put the drive in the "basement" bay on the metal "floor"? I have a DT, too, with all the bays filled. Assuming you've removed the cover, &, as you said, unlatching the front & back latches at the top: 1st, remove the power cord(s). That seems like an obvious 1, but it got me hung up the 1st time for a while before I realized that they were in the way of swing the chassis up. 2nd, flip up the PCI slot cover -- kind of hard to get the plastic pins out of their holes -- I'm always afraid I'll crack 1. That may be what's holding you up, too? 3, flip down the little stand on the right side, & swing up the chassis. 4, make sure the little plastic stay on the bottom is in the hole, before you let go with your hands. 5, I always try to remember to put the power cord back in, so I can touch the power supply to be grounded while working on stuff (especially at this time of year...) You'll need a sled like the 1 in the middle bay, with the narrow tab at the front of the drive -- *and* a cable connection, of course. It's kind of hard to get those mothers down through the hole in the chassis. There should be a power cord dangling down from the psu just for that bay.
