I wanna let everyone know...I use PhotoShop 5.5. Yeah, and also, its on a
366MHz G3. Ive got a little over 512MB RAM. And my harddrive is what, ATA
16.7? Definitely 5400rpm. My point is, it runs fine. I guess 5.5s a little
"old", but seeing my specs and the specs of the mini I think itll do just fine
unless you actually get paid to use PhotoShop.
Now Ive got a question about external drives. FireWire only does 50MB/s.
And the MacMinis internal drive is ATA/100, I assume. So, if you really
want good performance out of a harddrive on the Mini, should you not replace
the
internal drive, since an external drive has the potential to be slower due to
an even greater bottleneck on the FireWire bus.
