All of them need the short ram. Almost all current ram will fit, but buy from a reputable dealer or on the swap list from someone who will guarantee that it will fit. 1" is fine, iirc, 1 1/8 will not fit.
The problem is the fan guard on the power supply. If you get tall ram by accident, AND ARE VERY CAREFUL, you can cutaway the guard. Just do not run your system with it open and the CD/floppy/power supply chassis flipped up.
