Large monitors and G5

I am looking at purchasing a larger LCD monitor for my G5 (27" or 
larger), any recommendations, Issues. I see the 30" Apple LCD requires 
a different video card (NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL), other options 
to this video card?

I am doing graphic design work but looking more for motion graphics 
work.

Space is a big consideration, little available for the foreseeable 
future, small studio/apartment.

How are the LCD Monitors with TV Tuner?
