Better performance, yes, but you can't run both Mac OS X and Yellow Dog at the same time. You have to boot in one or the other. What we need is a "Classic Environment" equivalent for Yellow Dog Linux, so that you could run Yellow Dog simultaneously (and for real), in its own sandbox.

Actually, with Mac-on-Linux, you can run both at the same time - or so they say. I have never done it, but now that I have a play machine I can test it out and get back to you.
