For some reason, I cannot find anything about ethernet on the OS9 system,
not anywhere. This is really weird. I cannot find anything on the Apple site
or anything on the networking sites everyone has so kindly sent me. I am
beginning to think I need to install a new network card along with the
software that comes with it. The G3 that I am using right now has a third
party network card installed. I bought it that way from someone on this
list, sorry I can't remember who. That is how I am using a cable modem to
email this list.
But the built-in ethernet connection on the other G3 should work, but I
cannot find any thing listed on all the sites, Apple or otherwise to address
the problem of not having any control panel or extension or anything else on
my OS9 software.
One thing I would ask. Please don't tell me about cables or routers or hubs.
I don't have the extension or whatever it takes to make my ethernet work.
That is the problem. Any ideas?
