I have a dual 1GHz MDD which I've been trying to sell,
but no-one seems to be interested in buying these
beasts now that the Mac mini is here...

So, I thought, can I fit my ATA100-PCI card in the MDD
and fit a further 4 harddrives in it ?

Problems I forsee are heat (8 harddrives create som heat)
and obviously the power consumption...

What about fitting the card, running cables outside the Mac
with a seperate ATX power supply and 4 drives in a box ?
