Assuming this device is connected via USB, does it show up in the
System Profiler under USB devices? More than likely this is where the
problem is. Sometimes a reboot without the device hooked up and then
hook up the device after the reboot will solve such problems. USB is
kind of flakey.

Yes it is USB. It does show up in the Sys Profiler. Still is not
working though. My next thought it to remove the program and reinstall
yet again. Or perhaps disconnect everything and start over. Any other
ideas?
