In that mac, there's a 137GB limit of which you'll see 128 GB. A larger drive is just a waste, get an external FW case for those.

Ah-Ha! You see! I knew the size limit wasn't 128GB, it was in the 130's! and yes, of course when you ~format~ a drive you have less available memory than what the label on the box says. But here's the thing, if you say to someone "Hey your computer can only see a 120GB hard drive" They are going to go out to the store and buy a 120GB hard drive, which would format to around 111GB or there about. Thats 17GB formated difference! Thats two hours of video from my HD camcorder. Now Given there is no 137GB hard drives on the market, the closest you'll get is 160GB which would like you said ~work~ in the computer, and would therefore allow any particular person to have that 17GB gain over a 120GB hard drive. And lastly the price difference between a 120GB and a 160GB is like, $15 - $20 bucks, I don't think most people would mind springing for an additional 17GB.

Oh, and the other thing is that when you tell people who are technically inclined that a system will only support a 128GB Hard drive, when they are relatively sure it was a higher number, you tend to make them go crazy!!!
