Did you check for/install any B&W firmware updates?

iirc anytime you add/change hardware you should reset
the CUDA & zap pram on the restart.

The CUDA switch on a B&W is located in on mobo,
in front of pci slots, just to right of pram battery.
Think it's labeled S4?
Pull the power cord, remove the pram battery & wait 10 mintes,
(some say let it sit overnight w/o battery)
Press & hold the cuda button for 20-30 seconds.
Reinstall the battery, reconnect power cord.
Power it up & zap pram by holding down cmd+option+P+R keys
for 3 -10 bongs, then release keys & let it boot.
You'll have to reset clock & other pref cp's after all this.
