You will need an adapter card. The Airport card fits into the
adapter, and the adapter slides into the white plastic guides on the
logic board. A connector on the adapter connects to the logic board.
The antenna wire plugs into the end of the card. Open the little trap
door on the bottom of the iMac and you'll see the two RAM slots,
above which is the Airport card adapter holder.
Tell us which operating system (OS) your daughter's iMac is running,
and then we can give you specifics on how to set it up for Internet
access.

Hi all -
My daughter has an Imac Power PC 750 (33.11) 600 MGZ,
Snow in color.
I'd like to install an Airport card in it for her, but
not sure whether I need an adaptor for it or not. It
does have a slot load CD.
She will be networking this Imac in a house with PC's
also connected to the network. Any help in directing
me to documents on how to do this kind of network so
that her Imac will work will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
