Sorry if this is slightly off topic but I appreciate the expertise of
this group. My daughter is in Costa Rica on AFS exchange for a year.
I found her a 500 iBook to take with her which has been great for
keeping in touch. She wants to get an external CD burner as she is
worried about losing all the photos, more likely through loss than
technical problems. Bearing in mind that it is hard for me to support
her from NZ, what is the list's recommendations for a burner? Are
there any supported by OS X without me having to send her Toast or
similar? Any thoughts much appreciated. She is running 10.3.6 or 7
(whatever was current when she left in Feb) on 256 megs.
