Looks like it does quite well with binaries, and if they've done half the job they did with Transmit (an ftp client), I don't think you'll need to look any farther. Price ($24.95) isn't quite as good as MT-Newswatcher and tin ($0 & $0), however.

I went and got it and am trying it out and must say it is the simple, elegant solution I was looking for. Thanks so much for the recommendation. It works (stable) and has a clean and simple (intuitive) interface. I like it SO MUCH better than the others I've tried. I also use Transmit as my preferred ftp client.
