I think I will wait until you try it first, if you don't mind letting
me know how it goes. I am new to the G4 boxes, and ours is all set
up and running smoothly, so I would rather not experiment with it.
I had not noticed the broken latches on our machine, only that the
door seemed sloppy. It was so full of dust bunnies inside I would
have sworn that nobody had opened it since it came off of the
assembly line. When I pulled the DVD/CD drive to put our super drive
in, this chunk of plastic fell out of the back of the drive cage.
That was the left latch. I never found the right one. I did
consider super-glue, but didn't figure it would hold, and I'm not too
thrilled with the prospect of it popping off while the machine is
running.
