I have the Coolscan 5000 from Nikon and it works great for all 35mm film,
but the process is slow.

If you decide on a flatbed scanner, you will get less quality than a
dedicated film scanner, but you can scan multiple images at one time.

For my purposes, I require the quality of the Coolscan but your needs may be
different.
