G-listers. I am trying to set up a G3 iMac running 9.2.2 for home use which has come from a school and it has no modem/PPP option under TCP/IP. Remote Access and Modems was not showing under Control Panels. I have tried copying across Remote Access and Modem Control Panel extensions from an iMac running the same system, but now it complains that it cannot find "Controller" ? I have tried going back through 9.1 and older System Disks looking for a Remote Access Installer but I haven't been able to find one.
Any thoughts or ideas gratefully received.

Reinstall the OS. There is at least one additional file needed for Remote Access. Even if you find all you need what about the other files that were removed to disable features?
